Over multiple years, I worked with Return-It to develop a wide range of campaigns designed to make recycling feel relevant, approachable, and part of everyday life across British Columbia.
Outdoor Etiquette (Spotify + Broadcast)
A playful audio and animated campaign featuring talking containers sharing the do’s and don’ts of recycling etiquette — bringing the brand’s personality into everyday situations.

“turning recycling into something people actually want to engage with”
Sort ’N Toss — Cineplex Interactive Game
An original mobile game experience created for movie theatres, allowing audiences to practise recycling by “tossing” containers into bins using their phones. The campaign drove high engagement and strengthened brand recognition in a fun, unexpected way.

Depot Reminder — Mixed Media Spot
A live-action commercial I directed combining animation, CG, and puppetry to remind people to return their containers. Weird, energetic, and highly shareable — designed to resonate with younger audiences.

News Anchor Prank — Return-It Gang
A broadcast and digital spot featuring the Return-It characters surprising a local news anchor, reinforcing depot awareness with humour and personality.

Return-It School Program
An animated introduction video for Return-It’s province-wide school initiative, helping teach kids the importance of recycling in an accessible, entertaining way.

Milk Container Character Development
A return engagement to design new characters for updated container types, expanding the Return-It universe as the program evolved.
